EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE

Stay with the problem.

Keep the useful things close. Leave the busywork behind.

01

A whole round, neatly organized.

Separate contest folders and A/B/C problem navigation. Switch problems without losing either solution.

02

Your code, your language.

Independent C++ and Python files, editable starter templates, and your familiar VS Code tooling.

03

Tests that tell you something.

Sample and custom-case tabs, clear pass/fail states, stdout, stderr, and the first differing token.

04

Ready when the round starts.

Add a contest ahead of time. With VS Code running, released problems and samples download automatically.

FROM FIRST READ TO FINAL CHECK

A little less friction. At every step.

Read the quick start
01

Bring your round.

Paste a Codeforces contest link or ID. Keep multiple contests organized in separate folders.

02

Make the solution yours.

Read the statement beside the native editor. Choose C++ or Python and start from your own template.

03

Test. Refine. Submit.

Run the cases, inspect differences, then copy your code and open the official submission page.

You submit on Codeforces. ACStride does not currently log in or automatically submit solutions.

LESS TOOL. MORE FOCUS.

Made to fit your editor. Not replace it.

Use your existing shortcuts, language extensions, and compiler. ACStride brings the contest context; VS Code stays your workspace.

Your solutions stay on your machine.

No ACStride account is needed for the current local workflow.

Clear about what is ready.

This is an early preview. Downloads may encounter site verification; keep the official site available.

Before you jump in.

Is this a standalone editor?

No. ACStride is a desktop VS Code extension, currently named CFIDE inside the extension. It adds contest tools to the editor you already use.

Do I need to install Python?

Only to run your Python solutions. Public problem downloads use a private bundled runtime. C++ solutions require your own compiler.

Can it submit directly to Codeforces?

Not currently. It saves and copies the selected solution and opens the matching official submission page. You paste and submit there.

Can I use it offline?

Saved code, custom tests, and cached statements remain available. Downloads, rankings, and public submissions require a network connection.

ACSTRIDE / NEXT ROUND
